The story of a girl's comically disastrous attempts at making money in order to repair her neighbour's broken pet python tank.
Jinx might be the clown of the family, but accidentally smashing her next-door neighbour's pet python's tank is no laughing matter. Jinx has to come up with a plan for some fast cash to pay for a new tank - otherwise she will end up having to work at her dad's bakery, "The Little Miss Muffin", and wear a cinnamon scroll shaped hat. And that is something Jinx doesn't even want to consider. Jinx devises a number of money-making schemes, but they all end in disaster, adding to Jinx's debts and almost undermining Dad's chances with his new girlfriend. Just when Jinx feels that she is living up to her name, a new opportunity arises that gives Jinx the chance to use her talent for comedy and pay back her debts at the same time.
