Queenie the Bantam

By Bob Graham

An egg-straordinary story of a most unusual hen by one of today's top picture book author/illustrators.

When Caitlin's dad rescues Queenie the bantam from a lake, it's the start of a quite egg-straordinary story. Queenie forms a strong attachment to the family. When they take her back to the farm where she came from, Queenie finds her way back to their home where she gets in the dog's basket and lays an egg! One day Catlin forgets to collect the eggs and Bruno the dog reclaims his basket. After that Queenie never returns, but Bruno hatches the eggs himself!
