I recommend this book if you like Stephanie Meyer with a little bit of Eragon (Christopher Paolini) and Harry Potter rolled into one, with Cassandra's style of adding the most mind-blowing and unexpected twists!

Carmy age 13 wrote:

I enjoyed reading this book as Cassandra Clare writes very descriptively which makes her books even more addictive. I always want to know what happens next to the characters as I feel very attached to them, an effect of her writing. Cassandra writes romantic parts and gruesome parts very vividly so you always have an exact idea of what is happening. She includes remarkable plot twists which makes the story less straightforward. I would definitely recommend this book to others as it was hard for me to put it down and an easy read. It is perfect for those who enjoy fantasy and romance novels with a bit of action.

Amazing, incredible, so much more than five star.

Michael wrote:

The world the author has created is just spectacular and the evil characters, particularly Valentine, are really multi-dimensional

Reviews

'These books have terror, fun, twists, fashion, sorrow -- the tale is one of hip tragedy, edged by lightning, driven by power and love. Clare starts strong and gets better all the time!' Tamora Pierce
