These are like one of my favourite fantasy series ever!!! I well cant wait for The Singing to come out, it sounds fantastic. I think that Alison Croggon is a wonderful writer, and the descriptions and the way she tells the story makes it come alive in your head so easily. Probably one of my favourite authors.

I read the books and definitely liked them, although I haven't read The Singing yet. These books are just as full of description (which I think could be left out often) as Lord of the Rings...and not half as good as those last books. Still, they're a nice read, even though Hem's point of view bores me. I hope The Singing is good!

I adore the the Pellinor books and when I read them I start believing in Bards but you never know maybe there are Bards in this world . Up till now I have read the first chapter as a pdf in the internet it is great . I think it is very sad that Zelika died
