Bali Rai

As a child, Bali Rai wanted to be Bob Marley, kiss Wonderwoman and have a red sports car. He also wanted to change his name to Kenny Dalglish in honour of his Liverpool F.C. hero. None of this happened so he wrote stories instead. As an adult, not much has changed really... Less hair where it should be. More hair where its shouldn't. Bali likes to write, cook, travel, listen to music and still spends too much time in pubs, bars and clubs... He doesn't even own a red sports car. Bali has written lots of books and is hoping to do some picture books soon too. He is also working on an adult novel and a script. Obviously he doesn't really sleep. Things you didn't know about Bali Rai: Aubergines make me puke.My favourite colour is red – Liverpool F.C. red! I used to eat dirt as a child. I can't ride a bike. I own thousands of reggae records. My agent is one of my best friends from school. I used to be a double-glazing salesperson. I fantasised about being in a Roald Dahl novel as a kid. I've met the Queen (quickly, once). I talk to my neighbour's cat every day.
