Elise Broach is the author of several picture books including Wet Dog, Hiding Hoover and When Dinosaurs Came with Everything. Shakespeare's Secret is her first novel and was inspired by her experience of small town politics when she ran for public office in her home town - and won! Elise lived in Brighton when she was younger, and now lives in Connecticut, USA.
