Ian Bone

Ian Bone was born in Geelong, Australia, where Ford cars are manufactured. He trained as a teacher and then enrolled at the Australian Film and TV School, after which he got a job with the Australian Broadcasting Company. For ten years he produced, directed and wrote children’s television programmes, a number of which won national and international awards. He is married with three children.

As an artist

Since 1993, Ian has been a full-time writer of books for children, including Winning Back Dad and Pimplehead and Curly.
