Regan Dunnick

As a child

I am from Miami Florida. My early inspiration came from reading Picture books followed by Comic books and Mad Magazine.

As an adult

I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida. My early years as an illustrator were spent in Houston, Texas. I returned to Sarasota, Florida in 1986 and started teaching at RCAD and I continue to teach there in the Illustration Department. I have a very active Illustration career with many varying clients.

As an artist

I’ve done many picture books over the last 15 years. I’m currently shopping a series of books that I wrote and illustrated. I work in my studio which houses my assistant, Mr. Pickles. (parrot)
