Jenny Løvlie
Jenny Løvlie is an illustrator inspired by wild Scandinavian landscapes, having grown up in a remote Norwegian town by the Barents Sea where she was the first child to be born in 12 years. She studied Illustration and Animation at Kingston University in London. Her books include The Wide, Wide Sea with author Anna Wilson in partnership with the National Trust, All the Animals Were Sleeping and Time to Move South for Winter in collaboration with author Clare Helen Welsh, and Eggs!, a lift-the-flap counting book with Katie Dale. She is the illustrator for Paula Harrison’s Kitty’s Moonlight Adventures series, won the Waterstones Children’s Illustrator Prize for picture book The Girls with author Lauren Ace, and has collaborated with author Lily Murray for A Dress with Pockets and The Girl Who LOVES Bugs.
