Norman Messenger’s reputation as an illustrator became established with work for books, magazines and design groups. His books for children include Annabel’s House (winner of the US Redbook Award); Making Faces; Imagine and The Land of Neverbelieve. He was a founder member of the Association of Illustrators and lives in Gloucestershire.

Amanda Middleditch

Amanda Middleditch is a teddy bear and soft toy restorer, working with Julie Tatchell, and more commonly known as The Teddy Bear Ladies from the BBC 1 show, The Repair Shop. They have been working together since 2006. When they are not working together, Amanda loves to spend time sewing and embroidering in her little home studio. She is more of a towny but is always happy to share the excitement of a vintage shopping trip with Julie (tea and cake always essential!).

Gwen Millward is the illustrator of numerous books for children, including The Bog Baby by Jeanne Willis, How Do You Hug a Porcupine? by Laurie Isop, and the Charmseekers series by Georgie Adams. She is also the author-illustrator of the picture book Bear and Bird. Gwen Millward lives in Bristol.
