Skye Melki-Wegner

Skye Melki-Wegner was born in Melbourne, Australia. She started writing as soon as she could hold a pen – and soon her notebooks overflowed with dragons, pixies, wizards and all sorts of magical shenanigans. After graduating with a Law degree from Monash University, Skye decided to pursue her passion and prioritised writing fantasy books over pursuing a legal career.

Over the years, Skye has worked everywhere from a cinema (where she ate too much popcorn) to a museum (where some of her colleagues were literally dinosaurs).

The Deadlands is her first middle-grade series.
