The Carnegie Medals 2025 Longlist has been announced today, and Walker Books leads the field for publisher nominations across both the writing and illustration award with six titles in the illustration category and two for writing:

• The Dictionary Story by Oliver Jeffers and Sam Winston
• Clever Crow by Olivia Lomenech Gill, written by Chris Butterworth
• Dive, Dive into the Night Sea by Thea Lu
• Do You Remember? by Sydney Smith
WRITING
• Little Bang by Kelly McCaughrain
• Louder Than Hunger by John Schu
