Fran Scott

Fran Scott has worked in science communication for the past 17 years, explaining the seemingly complex in digestible steps, often using self-built props. She has presented shows for the BBC, Channel 4 and YouTube, and hosts award-winning podcasts on robotics, innovation and infrastructure. Fran started her career building props for the Science Museum, then moved to producing the Royal Institution’s Christmas Lectures, and now she is Creative Director of her own science communication delivery-partner company, which provides bespoke educational shows and workshops for various engineering firms, whilst developing the talents of under-represented science presenters.
