Sheena Dempsey was born in Cork and studied fine art in the National College of Art and Design in Dublin before moving to London in 2009. She graduated from Kingston University with an MA in illustration in 2011. About Bye-bye Baby Brother, her first picture book, she says, “Daydreaming with a burly canine friend like Rory is just my idea of an enjoyable way to spend my time. If that’s not possible, then drawing pictures of it is the next best thing!” Sheena lives in south east London.
